... she and her independence days!

Look at my little mother ~ The Future of Mother India ~ The Mother of Future India.

My smallest cutest niece, Kaveri, the cynosure of all eyes, has one day still to go to fill a whole of two months. Yesterday, it was just a few seconds away before her falling asleep when I took a few mobile snaps of hers...

The movements were indescribable... absolutely stunning! She was drooping, dropping, dreaming, dozing, dilly-dallying, all eyes, all glares - and then, sank herself into sleep. I had been the worst photographer ever in my life. I was busy drinking her placid and ineffable beauty.

Her entry into the dreamland tinctured me with a little amount of awareness that I have engraved below...

.................

The cutie pie is swimming in her independence days in India, our motherland, where thousands of girl-children are killed in their foetuses. Kaveri flows through her parents. As a daughter, she is respectfully theirs. Let us not forget... A child sleeps this way... A Nation rises this way...

I am a mother of two children, and it is absolute ecstasy to have a baby fall asleep in your arms.... but I was never able to capture those moments. Your picture did just that - transported me back in time!!! Wonderful, wonderful capture! God bless!
