Spain has bagged the Fifa World Cup Football 2010 defeating Netherlands. It's no doubt a heroic effort for Spain that driving away almost everyone they have come up to the surface. The victory has strengthened their spine, moralized their spirit and ballooned their heart. At the time when Brazil, Argentina and Germany were out, everybody around me threw a comment that there remains nothing to watch in the World Cup. When I asked softly if there was anything to watch when they were in, they went furious. I slowly crawled back into my den, as the mob, smeared with yellow, green and blue colours, suddenly showed red!
I don't understand why there is so much fascination around the teams aforesaid.
Here, nobody supports Spain! And if somebody supports Spain, the rest will poke fun at him/her. And here lies the truth. They don't sponsor prolifically, don't even support their own Indian Football team that has never crossed the threshold of the qualifying round.
We talk so much about other nations, and in the day's end, our country lies with empty stomach!

Thanks so much for connecting with me on my 365 Days of Novel Writing adventure. Love your blog...especially the title. :)
I know how you feel. There are a lot of St. George flags in the gutter in England, and they have been there for quite a while... I, too, do not care about football. Also, I do not care about CRICKET! Can you say the same?
Same...
Thanks for becoming a follower! Your blog looks great!
