... gossipmongering

Pricking other people's habits and nosing around their private life is the trend of our living nowadays. We usually feel proud of having ruled this habit so long and make the damned mistake again and again. We neither blame us nor feel sad about this gossipmongering. Having no work around to finish off or forgetting our work, we continue skylarking around our wont, which, to be very strict, ails us and our society.

Looking into one's own self has become a lost art. Let me draw out “I” from “We” – here and now. I never think of what I do – everyday, everywhere. I only consider I have a stock of knowledge about what other's way should be. His mistake, her foible, your hostility stumble on my way. However, I don't go out in search of my life. In fact, I can't. The moment I go out and ransack myself, I see myself talking rubbish and doing nothing except buncoing my morality.

Its not a new trend. Gossip-mongering has been the trend of masses since times immemorial. Infact one gets pleasure in supressing their pent-up emotions by poking their nose in other matters. exceptions r very few................

Gossip mongering and India are specially bonded and complementary. I personally try to avoid this nasty habit by remembering this quote by Eleanor Roosevelt 'Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people' but then old rather traditional habits die hard! :)

Are you really that way? You don't appear to be. You seem to be thoughtful, mindful, and genuinely hospitably. Don't be so hard on yourself.
